PGIM Chief Legal & Compliance Officer
Jack Ewing is the chief legal and compliance officer for PGIM. In this role, he has global oversight of compliance and legal support provided to PGIM’s asset management businesses.
In Ewing’s more than 30 years of service with Prudential Financial, Inc. (PFI), he has held many leadership positions within its legal function, including chief legal officer for all U.S. Businesses, International Businesses and PGIM. Ewing has worked with senior leaders of investment advisers, insurance companies, funds, broker-dealers and other financial service companies on a wide range of legal, compliance, governance and business strategy matters. He has extensive experience advising on the development, marketing and administration of investment and insurance products. Ewing also has broad experience with internal investigations, examinations, litigation and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining PFI’s law department, Ewing was in private practice and focused on the regulation of pension and executive compensation plans and related plan investments.
Ewing earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Rutgers University, and he graduated with highest honors from Rutgers Law School in Newark. He is admitted to the Bar in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
