David Winans is a Principal and credit analyst for PGIM Fixed Income's U.S. Investment Grade Credit Research Team. Mr. Winans covers the U.S. & Non-U.S. energy sectors. Prior to joining the Firm in 2006, he was a Vice President and fixed income analyst covering high-grade energy and paper companies at Bear, Stearns & Co. While there, Mr. Winans and his team member were ranked number one in America by Institutional Investor magazine for 2004 and 2005. Previously, Mr. Winans was a captain in the U.S. Air Force, and served as a flight commander and intelligence officer assigned to U.S. Pacific Command (USPACOM). He received a BS from the United States Air Force Academy, and an MBA in Finance from Brigham Young University.
