Kaustub Samant

Kaustub Samant is a Principal and Head of Securitized Products Research for PGIM Fixed Income. Prior to joining the Firm in 2022, Mr. Samant was the Head of U.S. Mortgage Credit Research at JP Morgan. At JPM, he was responsible for setting the forecast for U.S. home prices and forming a view on key RMBS subsectors such as credit risk transfer, jumbo, reperforming loans and non-QM. Both Mr. Samant and his work have been quoted in the WSJ, Bloomberg and various securitized product news outlets. He routinely presented at industry conferences and was consistently recognized in the Institutional Investor and Greenwich Surveys. During his time at JPM, Mr. Samant also covered non-mortgage consumer ABS sectors such as cards, autos, student loans and esoteric ABS. He received a degree in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University.
