Taisaku Kunisawa, CMA

Taisaku Kunisawa, CMA, is President and Chief Executive Officer of PGIM Japan Co., Ltd. (PGIM Japan) and is responsible for all aspects of PGIM Japan's business. Prior to this, Mr. Kunisawa was Head of the Client Advisory Group at PGIM Japan, where he had oversight of the Firm’s sales and client service for all channels, consultant relations and marketing. Prior to joining the Firm in 2017, Mr. Kunisawa spent six years at PIMCO, where he was responsible for institutional client and consultant relationship management. From 2008, he worked at Barclays Global Investors (merged with BlackRock in 2009), where he was Director of iShares (BlackRock’s ETF brand) sales team. He began his career at Nippon Life Insurance (NLI) in 1994, where he was engaged in management of U.S. fixed income portfolios including five years at NLI International in New York. Mr. Kunisawa earned a BA in economics from Kobe University. He is a Chartered Member of the Securities Analysts of Japan (CMA) and Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA).
