Derek Lam is a Senior Investment Associate at PGIM Real Estate. Based in Singapore, Derek is part of the data centers strategy and portfolio management team.
Prior, Derek was based in Sydney and supported both real estate equity and debt investments in Australia. He also assisted the head of asset management in the management of the Australian assets.
Before joining the Australia office in 2019, Derek was working with the Asia Retail portfolio management team in Singapore.
In his role there, Derek assisted in all aspects of Asia Retail portfolio management, including implementation of fund strategy, fund modelling, reporting and investor relations.
Derek previously spent a year at CBRE Singapore with the CBRE capital advisors and CBRE capital markets teams.
Derek holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the National University of Singapore, where he graduated with highest distinction.
