Laura Nugent is an assistant portfolio manager at PGIM Real Estate and a member of the U.S. Senior Mortgage Originations team. Based in San Francisco, Laura is responsible for day-to-day management of U.S. Senior Mortgage Originations, working with Jeremy Keenan, senior portfolio manager.
Most recently, Laura worked on the Equity Transactions team based out of the San Francisco office, where she helped cover acquisitions for all property types in Southern California and Arizona. Laura also worked on the Industrial Transactions team, underwriting the West Coast assets for select national industrial portfolios acquired by PGIM Real Estate.
Prior to joining PGIM Real Estate, Laura worked for Morgan Stanley in New York on their real estate investment banking team, predominantly covering REIT M&A. Laura started her career in distressed real estate investing and advisory work in Portland, Oregon, buying subprime mortgage bonds, underwriting distressed real-estate backed loans, and advising real estate companies going through bankruptcy.
Laura has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Stanford, a master’s degree in anthropology from Stanford, and a master of business administration from University of Pennsylvania.
