Niko Zuidema is an executive director with PGIM Real Estate and currently serves as chief credit officer for the business’ Agricultural Finance group. Based in Roseville, California, Niko is responsible for sizing, pricing and structuring agricultural debt investments across the U.S.
Niko joined PGIM Real Estate in 2024. Prior to joining, Niko served as Head of Agribusiness and Food Vertical US for Bank of the West, part of BNP Paribas Group. In that role, Niko was responsible for leading relationship managers and financial analysts and working in close collaboration with credit risk and asset-based lending teams in all matters related to agribusiness and food.
Earlier, Niko worked as division credit manager responsible for the wine, food, and agribusiness portfolio at Bank of the West. Previously, Niko worked for Rabobank for over 20 years in a number of roles in the Netherlands and the U.S., including Chief Commercial Officer.
Niko has a masters in economics from University of Tilburg, Netherlands and completed the Rabobank Management Program at University of Nyenrode, Netherlands.
