Juan Surís, PhD, is a Managing Director and the Co-Head of Quantitative Modeling and Strategies for PGIM Fixed Income. In this role Mr. Surís is responsible for conducting quantitative research and modeling needs for the PFIM organization. Prior to joining the Firm in 2011, he was a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Puerto Rico. Mr. Surís has held various roles in industry and academia, including a position as an Associate for PFIM from 1999-2002. He received a PhD in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MS in Statistics from the University of Chicago.
