Richard T. Greenwood, CFA, is a Managing Director, Head of PGIM Fixed Income’s Credit Group, and Co-Head of EMEA. Mr. Greenwood has oversight of both credit research and portfolio management. The portfolio strategies he oversees include U.S., European and Global corporates, high yield and bank loans, and U.S. municipal bonds. His research responsibilities extend beyond these to include Japanese and Emerging Market Corporates. He manages staff in Newark, NJ, London, Tokyo and Singapore. As Head of the London office, Mr. Greenwood oversees governance and chairs the boards of the UK and Netherlands investment management companies. He is co-located in Newark and London, which facilitates his ability to manage our global credit platform. Previously, Mr. Greenwood worked in the financial restructuring, credit administration and direct investment units in the firm’s private placements group. Before joining the Firm in 1987, Mr. Greenwood worked for Marine Midland Bank. Mr. Greenwood received a BA in Economics magna cum laude from New York University and an MBA in Finance with distinction from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
