John Vibert is a Senior Managing Director and Head of PGIM Credit. In this role, he leads the day-to-day business activities for the Investment group and oversees the investment activities for public and private fixed income. Prior to his present role, Mr. Vibert was President and CEO of PGIM Fixed Income, having joined PGIM in 2014 as Head of Securitized Products. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Vibert was the lead portfolio manager for BlackRock’s mortgage credit portfolios and head of the non-agency Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS) portfolio management team. Before joining BlackRock, Mr. Vibert was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse, where he was Head of Adjustable-Rate Mortgage trading and Co-Head of Non-Agency RMBS trading. Earlier, he was a mortgage trader at Morgan Stanley and began his career as a quantitative analyst in the mortgage research department of Salomon Brothers. Mr. Vibert earned a BS in Engineering, with distinction, from Cornell University.
