Michael C. Wasserman

Michael Wasserman joined Prudential in July 2006 and is a Vice President and senior research analyst in the Strategic Investment Research Group (SIRG). His primary responsibilities include manager research due diligence and board reporting for the sub-advised insurance platform.

Before joining SIRG in 2006, he spent two years as an independent financial advisor to high net worth individuals. Prior to that, Mr. Wasserman was a Director at Standard & Poor’s for six years, where he was instrumental in developing Standard & Poor’s mutual fund research group and Select List of Funds. He served as a senior voting member of Standard & Poor’s Investment Policy Committee for fund selection. Before Standard & Poor’s, Mr. Wasserman spent nine years a Chase Manhattan Bank’s Consulting Group (now JPMorgan Chase) as assistant vice president as lead consultant for the group’s coverage of IBM’s pension plan.

Mr. Wasserman received his M.B.A in Finance, with Distinction, from Adelphi University and B.A. in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany.
