Derek Godwin, CPA

Derek Godwin, CPA, is a Vice President and portfolio manager for PGIM Fixed Income's U.S. High Yield Bond Team. Mr. Godwin is also responsible for managing high yield bonds across multi-sector portfolios. Before joining the Firm in 2014, Mr. Godwin was a Vice President and high yield trader at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Mr. Godwin was also previously the head trader at W.R. Huff Asset Management, after holding the positions of analyst and trading desk assistant. Earlier, Mr. Godwin was a senior auditor at Deloitte & Touche. He earned both a BSBA and MS in Accounting from Seton Hall University. Mr. Godwin holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
