PGIM has an established relationship with BioFirst, having previously provided financing in February 2022 to support a Canadian acquisition and again in April 2024 for a Brazilian acquisition. In early 2026, discussions focused on strategic capital to finance anticipated minority purchases.

In September 2026, PGIM provided €30 million and $30 million of Senior Notes to help the company achieve this goal.

BioFirst chose to work with us due to our (i) confidence in execution across the full financing quantum, (ii) ability to deliver long-dated maturities with a substantial amortisation grace period, and (iii) multi-currency capacity.
