James Holstein is a senior director with PGIM Real Estate Agricultural Finance & Investments. Based in Lisle, Illinois, Jim is responsible for overseeing all client accounting and reporting activities on behalf of the Equity portfolios, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. Jim also oversees agricultural business unit performance, management reporting and external financial reporting, all external and internal audits, coordinating budgeting and reforecasting activities, and implementing and updating policies and procedures.
Jim joined the company in 2019. Prior to joining PGIM Real Estate, he was Controller for McCaffery Interests in Chicago. In this role, he was responsible for maintaining accounting and financial reporting functions for commercial, residential and development properties, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial close process, as well as management of the accounting team.
Prior to his role at McCaffery, Jim spent 13 years at Inland Real Estate Corporation in various accounting functions, including as Controller, overseeing quarterly performance reporting, market forecasting, and maintaining joint venture relationships.
Jim received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from DePaul University in Chicago.
