Credit Head of Private Credit
Matt Douglass is the head of Private Credit at PGIM. PGIM manages a global private credit portfolio of private placement, direct lending, and mezzanine investments. PGIM invests roughly $15 billion per year in private corporate and infrastructure senior debt and junior capital through its regional office network with locations in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Frankfurt, London, Los Angeles, Madrid, Mexico City, Milan, Minneapolis, Newark, New York, Paris, San Francisco and Sydney. Douglass is a partner and Investment Committee member of PGIM Capital Partners and PGIM Energy Partners, mezzanine funds managed by PGIM.
Douglass joined PGIM in 1993. He received a B.A. from Swarthmore College and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Douglass holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
