Matt Douglass
Matt Douglass is responsible for all of PGIM Private Capital’s businesses. PGIM Private Capital manages outside non-affiliated assets through its Institutional Asset Management unit and Alternatives unit, comprised of PGIM Energy Partners energy mezzanine fund, six PGIM Capital Partners corporate mezzanine funds, Direct Lending, and Sustainable Power businesses. Mr. Douglass is a Partner and Investment Committee member of PGIM Capital Partners and PGIM Energy Partners, mezzanine funds managed by PGIM Private Capital.
PGIM Private Capital also manages private placements and mezzanine investments through its Regional Office Network, known as Prudential Private Capital (PPC) with offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Frankfurt, London, Los Angeles, Madrid, Mexico City*, Milan, Minneapolis, Newark, New York, Paris, San Francisco, and Sydney.** PPC purchases up to $16 billion annually in predominantly senior debt and junior capital.
Matt’s previously held positions at PGIM Private Capital include Head of Real Assets, Chief Credit Officer, and New York Office Head, and he has been a member of the Senior Management Team since 2012. Matt joined Prudential in 1993 and received a BA from Swarthmore College and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Matt holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
