Infrastructure for the New Economy: Digitization and Sustainability
Join Margaret Franklin, President and CEO of the CFA Institute, as she hosts a discussion around 21st century infrastructure.
Organized under a group annuity contract in 2021, the PGIM Infrastructure Debt Fund is a comingled vehicle focused on investment grade and high quality below investment grade private placements focused on the infrastructure segment.
Available only to qualified U.S. pension plans (comparable strategies available under individual managed accounts), the PGIM Infrastructure Debt Fund is focused on an average quality of BBB/BBB- which we view as the most attractive risk/return opportunity in the infrastructure space. PGIM Private Capital, one of the pioneers in renewable and core infrastructure financing, has historically only offered investment in this sector in the context of a broad private placement mandate. This Fund, and single investor account mandates, are now offered with this focus.
This asset class has high barriers to entry and less cyclicality while offering higher spreads than comparably rated corporate debt.
The fund is only available for investment to qualified U.S. pension plans. Comparable strategies available under individual managed accounts.
