Jason Denton
Jason Denton is an executive director at PGIM Real Estate and national timber and eastern regional manager of the Agricultural Finance team.
Based in Madison, Georgia, Jason is responsible for overseeing strategy and production for core farm originations east of the Rockies and timber on a national scale.
Before joining PGIM Real Estate, Jason was a director of timberland and forest products finance at MetLife. He led timberland originations, with $3.4 billion in domestic and international timberland debt transactions. Prior to that, Jason held roles with AgSouth Farm Credit in the firm’s corporate lending group, gaining experience in row crop, agribusiness, timberland and forest products.
Jason has a Bachelor of Science in forestry from the University of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration from Troy University. He has been a featured speaker at several industry conferences, including the World Forestry Center’s September 2022 conference — Who Will Own the Forest?
