Jim Holstein is a Vice President with PGIM Real Estate Finance’s Agricultural Finance team. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all client accounting and reporting activities on behalf of the PAI Equity portfolios, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
He also oversees agricultural business unit performance, management reporting and external financial reporting, all external and internal audits, coordinating budgeting and reforecasting activities, and implementing and updating policies and procedures. Jim is located in Lisle, Illinois.
Jim joined the company in 2019. Prior to joining PGIM REF, he was Controller for McCaffery Interests in Chicago. In this role, he was responsible for maintaining accounting and financial reporting functions for commercial, residential and development properties, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial close process, as well as management of the accounting team.
Prior to his role at McCaffery, Jim spent 13 years at Inland Real Estate Corporation in various accounting functions, including as Controller, overseeing quarterly performance reporting, market forecasting, and maintaining joint venture relationships.
Jim received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from DePaul University in Chicago.
