Juan Castro-Anzola
Juan David Castro-Anzola is a vice president with PGIM Real Estate Agricultural Finance & Investments. He was appointed to his current role in early 2002 to oversee the underwriting for farmland investments across all the regions in the U.S. as well as the commodity research team and agricultural group’s technology initiatives.
Prior to this role, Juan David worked on all activities related to agricultural investments in the Eastern Region including strategy, acquisitions, asset management, reporting, and dispositions on behalf of third-party institutional investors as well as the underwriting of transactions throughout the Central Region. He spent five years (2010-14) working along Sr. Management in various key strategic and corporate initiatives for PGIM Agricultural Investments as well the underwriting of farmland investments in the western region.
Juan David joined PGIM Real Estate Agricultural Finance & Investments in 2006 as a debt investment analyst (2006-10) in the agricultural lending group for the Southeast Region.
Juan David is a graduate from the University of Florida with both a Master's degree in Agribusiness as well as a Bachelor's degree in Food and Resource Economics (Summa Cum Laude). Juan David holds a Florida Real Estate License, is a graduate from the Wedgworth Leadership Institute through the University of Florida (2022) and a graduate from Florida’s Fruit and Vegetable Association’s emerging leaders' program (2019). He also serves on various for-profit and non-profit Boards.
