Mark Negus
Mark Negus is an Executive Director at PGIM Real Estate with responsibility for portfolio management of Data Centers Strategy. Based in Newark, New Jersey, Mark has primary oversight of the execution and management of the Strategy's North American investments.
Previously, Mark served as the Chief Underwriter for PGIM Real Estate’s Americas investment strategy in which he oversaw the underwriting of more than $17bn of new investments over 200 transactions in the U.S. and Mexico as well as more than $9bn of dispositions, including the sale of PGIM’s Digital Realty joint venture.
Prior to his role as chief underwriter, Mark was a member of the U.S. Debt Capital Markets team, in which he was responsible for procuring, structuring, and executing all asset level and fund level financings ($4-5 billion annually) for PGIM Real Estate’s U.S. equity funds and advising portfolio managers on portfolio debt strategies.
Before joining PGIM Real Estate, Mark was a vice president at M&T Bank, where he was responsible for the underwriting and origination of more than $700 million in construction, bridge, and permanent commercial real estate loans across all asset types, including data centers.
Mark has a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. Mark serves on the advisory board of the Steers Center for Global Real Estate at Georgetown University.
