Sean McCarthy is a Principal and Head of Municipal Bond Research for PGIM Fixed Income. Prior to joining the Firm in 2023, Mr. McCarthy spent fourteen years at PIMCO, most recently serving as Head of Municipal Research. Mr. McCarthy started his career at Lehman Brothers where he was an investment banker in the asset-backed securities group. Mr. McCarthy earned a BA in English from James Madison University.
