PGIM was introduced to the Company via Kinetic, an Australian-based multinational bus operator, with whom the PGIM Sydney team developed a prior relationship. Kinetic, alongside its consortium partner Globalvia, acquired The Go-Ahead Group in 2022.

Following its 2022 acquisition, The Go-Ahead Group was looking to refinance existing debt and increase growth capacity. The Company desired to work with a small lending group of financiers who could speak for volume, in addition to adding diversification and tenor to its funding book to de-risk the balance sheet.

The Company decided to partner with PGIM given our: i) relationship-based and solutions-oriented approach to market, ii) responsiveness and speed of execution, and iii) ability to provide longer-term debt. In August 2023, we provided The Go-Ahead Group with Senior Secured Notes alongside funding provided by a banking syndicate.

We are delighted to formalize our relationship with The Go-Ahead Group and look forward to our long-term partnership.
