Strategic Capital Group Chief Legal Officer
Karen M. Sills is Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of PGIM Multi-Asset Solutions, which leverages PGIM’s public and private markets expertise to develop and implement sophisticated asset-liability management and asset allocation strategies for insurance clients and other institutional investors.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Sills managed the team of lawyers responsible for providing proactive legal advice with respect to investment products offered through the retirement business of Prudential Financial, Inc. (PFI), including proprietary market value and stable value products. Ms. Sills has significant experience in the financial services and asset management industries, including matters pertaining to insurance, ERISA/tax, and securities laws. Ms. Sills joined PFI's law department in 2011. Prior to joining PFI, Ms. Sills was Assistant Vice President and Counsel at MassMutual, where she provided legal advice to the Retirement Services business.
Ms. Sills received an AB in Economics from Princeton University, and received a JD (cum laude), as well as a certificate in taxation, from the University of Connecticut School of Law. Ms. Sills is a member of the bars in the following states: New York, New Jersey (in-house counsel), Connecticut and Massachusetts. Ms. Sills is a recipient of the Hartford Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 Awards and was named a James W. Cooper Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation.
