Lorenzo Cupido currently serves as Vice President, Head of Financial Risks and Corporate Functions in the Internal Audit Department at Prudential Financial, Inc. (PFI). He is also temporarily seconded to PGIM Portfolio Advisory where he covers operational and financial risks.
Prior to PFI, he served in various business and risk roles in the banking industry, including Chief Risk Officer, Swap Dealer and Head of Market Risk, North America at HSBC. He also held senior roles at other US and European investment banks where he gained extensive international experience in capital markets, structuring, treasury, and risk management.
He holds a master’s degree in finance from the City University of New York as well as master’s and BS degrees from Marche Polytechnic University in Italy. He is FINRA Series 7 licensed.
