PGIM Head of Communications
Ted Smith is Chief Communications Officer and Head of Communications for PGIM, the investment management business of Prudential Financial, Inc. In this role, he is responsible for leading employee and external communications efforts on behalf of PGIM and its affiliate businesses; developing and implementing communications strategies that promote and protect PGIM’s reputation as a leading active asset manager globally.
Ted joined PGIM from Dukas Linden Public Relations (DLPR), where he was a Vice President overseeing the institutional asset management group; responsible for leading crisis communications, transaction communications, executive visibility and brand development on behalf of public and private asset managers globally. Prior to DLPR, he held sales and trading positions within fixed income, commodity, and currency markets at Miller Tabak Roberts, MF Global, and Deutsche Asset Management. Mr. Smith earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Gettysburg College.
