Raimondo Amabile is the co-head and global chief investment officer of Real Estate at PGIM. Amabile is based in London.
PGIM is one of the largest real estate investment managers in the world, offering a broad range of real estate equity, real estate debt, agriculture and sustainable investment strategies globally.
As co-head of Real Estate, Amabile develops and leads the global strategy and has oversight across the real estate platform. In his role as global CIO of Real Estate, he oversees the macro investment strategy globally, focusing on broad thematic trends that will connect directly to the regional investment strategies, as well as connecting PGIM’s proprietary data, market insights and research with new technological innovations. In addition, Amabile is co-chair of the board of directors of RealAssetX, PGIM’s innovation lab aimed at accelerating advancement in the real asset industry.
Previously, Amabile was head of Europe and Latin America, and earlier was head of European Transactions. Before joining PGIM, Amabile was managing director and head of European business development for Tishman Speyer. Earlier, he led operations for Southern and Eastern Europe. Prior to Tishman, Amabile was a founding partner at Realty Partners, an independent fund management firm in Italy. He also was a vice president at Morgan Stanley Real Estate and was a senior associate with GE Capital Real Estate’s European acquisitions team.
Amabile has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Naples and a Ph.D.in real estate investment and finance from University of Padova.
