PGIM Multi-Asset Solutions’ Chief Executive Officer, Phil Waldeck, joined the “Multi-Asset Solutions for Financial Outperformance” panel at Milken Institute’s 2025 Global Conference. During the session, Phil explored the evolution and growing demand of investors seeking multi-asset investment solutions, and shared insights into the interplay between public and private assets in multi-asset portfolio construction. Phil also highlighted that in today’s challenging market environment, investors aiming to position themselves for success tomorrow may want to prioritize maintaining flexibility and liquidity, enabling seamless pivots in the face of downside challenges and upside opportunities. It’s also important to identify partners with sophisticated, proprietary investment tools which can optimize risk-adjusted returns, uncover hidden correlations, and inform liquidity needs before they arise. At the same time, investors need to understand the value of an integrated investment platform as public and private markets converge, enabling them to take advantage of information asymmetry and increase their potential of uncovering compelling opportunities when others cannot.
