Marc Soto is an Executive Director at PGIM Real Estate, based in New York, NY. In his role, he is responsible for nationwide loan origination and specializes in the origination of multifamily loans through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, as well as PGIM's proprietary capital sources. Marc brings over $5 billion of multifamily Agency and Capital Markets originations experience to PGIM’s Real Estate platform.
Prior to joining PGIM Real Estate, Marc served as a Managing Director at Walker & Dunlop within their Real Estate Finance Group where he led his own originations team based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Prior to his time at Walker & Dunlop, he served as a Senior Vice President at Capital One, where he led his own direct originations team and was responsible for helping grow the firm’s correspondent relationship platform to over $5 billion in agency originations per year.
Marc earned his bachelor's degree in Sociology and minor in Business Administration from The George Washington University. He was named a Top Young Professional by Commercial Observer in 2022 and was a recipient of the Next Generation Award by Connect Media in 2020, where he was a National Honoree.
