Richard Greenwood, CFA

Richard T. Greenwood, CFA, is a Managing Director and Head of PGIM Fixed Income’s Credit Group. Mr. Greenwood has oversight of both credit research and portfolio management globally. The portfolio strategies he oversees include U.S., European and Global corporates, high yield and bank loans, and U.S. municipal bonds. His research responsibilities extend beyond these to include Japanese and Emerging Market Corporates. He manages staff in Newark, NJ, London, Tokyo and Singapore. In addition to his primary responsibilities Mr. Greenwood also served for five years as Head of EMEA for PGIM Fixed Income, during which he presided as CEO and chairman of the board for PGIM Limited and served on the UCITS and QIF boards.  He continues to chair the board of  PGIM Netherlands BV.  Previously, Mr. Greenwood worked in the financial restructuring, credit administration and direct investment units in the Firm’s private placements group. Before joining the Firm in 1987, Mr. Greenwood worked for Marine Midland Bank. Mr. Greenwood received a BA in Economics magna cum laude from New York University and an MBA in Finance with distinction from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
