PGIM Global Head of Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG)

Eugenia Unanyants-Jackson is the global head of Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG), and is based in London. Unanyants-Jackson is responsible for shaping and coordinating ESG strategy and execution across PGIM, chairing the PGIM ESG Council, engaging with key external stakeholders including clients, consultants, regulators and the media and partnering closely with Prudential Financial, Inc.’s ESG and Sustainability groups. Unanyants-Jackson joined PGIM in 2020 as the firm’s inaugural head of ESG Research, where she was charged with managing the strategic integration of ESG research across all elements of the firm, including investment decision-making and internal and external education and engagement.

Prior to joining PGIM, Unanyants-Jackson was the global head of ESG Research with Allianz Global Investors, leading the implementation of ESG integration across fundamental equity and fixed income strategies. Prior, she was a director of Governance and Sustainable Investment at BMO GAM (formerly F&C Investments). Unanyants-Jackson received a diploma in teaching English and German from the Tbilisi I. Chavchavadze State University of Western Languages and Cultures in Georgia and has an M.A. in public administration from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs. She is also a co-chair of the Corporate Governance and Stewardship Council for The Conference Board.
