Michael Catalano is an executive director at PGIM Real Estate. Based in Dallas, TX, Michael is responsible for originating a broad range of commercial mortgage products on behalf of Core, Core Plus, and Structured Debt, including Prudential’s General Account, and the Agencies – Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA.
Prior to joining PGIM, Michael was a senior vice president and market manager covering the mid-southern portion of the country for PNC Real Estate Banking. In that role, Michael provided a diverse set of credit and non-credit services to various types of clients including REIT’s, Private Equity Real Estate Funds and large private national and regional real estate owners, operators, and developers headquartered in the south.
Michael began his career with an international engineering and construction firm where he held positions of increasing responsibility including; design engineer, on-site construction manager, and project manager where he participated in the planning, evaluation, financing and execution of commercial development projects.
Michael is a licensed professional engineer and holds bachelor’s degrees in civil and environmental engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Pittsburgh where he graduated with distinction. Currently, Michael is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), Mortgage Bankers Association, (MBA), and The Real Estate Council of Dallas (TREC).
