Mr. D'Alessandro is a vice president and chief investment risk officer overseeing investment risk for the Strategic Investment Research Group (SIRG) of Prudential Investments. He is responsible for developing and formalizing risk management processes for the independent monitoring of equity and fixed income contributions to risk and return. Prior to joining the Strategic Investment Research Group in May 2009, Mr. D’Alessandro was an investment analyst with Prudential Retirement beginning in 2007. In this role, Mr. D’Alessandro was responsible for the research and construction of the Prudential Day One target date glide path. Before joining Prudential Retirement, Mr. D’Alessandro worked for The Hartford as an investment analyst and for Hartford Investment Management Company (HIMCO) as a fixed income portfolio risk manager. Mr. D'Alessandro has over 30 years of investment experience.
Mr. D’Alessandro graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a B.B.A. in Finance.
