Institutional investors are increasingly factoring geopolitical uncertainty and idiosyncratic risks into the construction of their portfolios, according to David Hunt, PGIM President and CEO.
In an interview with Bloomberg TV in Singapore, Hunt described how investors are building more liquidity and diversification into their portfolios, as they seek greater resiliency against shifting supply chains and unknown risks. Hunt also discussed the growth and maturation of private credit as an asset class, opportunities emerging from Japan's economic revival, emerging markets that are benefiting from trade flows, and the divergent paths for central banks and economic activity globally.
