Jace Bertges

Jace Bertges is an executive director at PGIM Real Estate. Based in Los Angeles, Jace is responsible for originating a broad range of commercial mortgage products on behalf of Core, Core Plus, and High Yield investors, including Prudential’s General Account, and the Agencies – Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA. Jace focuses on client relationships based in Northern California, the Pacific Northwest, and Australia.

Prior to his current role, Jace worked in special servicing and was responsible for the active asset management of complicated workouts nationally.

Jace joined the company in 2012 and spent 11 years in a variety of originations roles in the company’s Los Angeles and London offices where he was directly involved in the origination and underwriting of loans on all property types and through all capital sources. As an originator covering the Southern California markets, Jace originated $4.0B in loans.

Prior to joining PGIM Real Estate, he was on a debt origination team at ING Real Estate Finance in Los Angeles.

Jace has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Real Estate Finance from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business. Jace is a member of the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate and currently serves as PGIM Real Estate's Program Lead in its global partnership with YouthBuild, a non-profit organization serving opportunity youth.
