Quantitative equity's PRI SCORECARD AND REPORTS
Read our UNPRI assessment and transparency reports below:
Support was especially strong for routine governance and oversight matters. Audit and Financial, M&A proposals, and Changes to Company Statutes received majority support.
At the same time, opposition is concentrated in a small number of areas. Capital Management proposals received the highest level of opposition (20.5% voted against), followed by Compensation proposals (10.6% voted against). Voting scrutiny was focused primarily on capital allocation and executive pay matters.
Shareholder proposals were evaluated individually based on their merits and potential impact on long-term shareholder value. Where proposals addressed material issues, we assessed whether existing company practices already addressed the concern and whether the requested action would provide meaningful incremental benefit to shareholders. Many proposals were opposed because we concluded that the proposal was unnecessary, overly prescriptive, duplicative of existing practices, or unlikely to enhance shareholder value.
Where we voted in favor of shareholder proposals, we strongly believe they would be additive to shareholder value. Governance, Compensation and Social issues saw the strongest support.
