Weekly View from the Desk
PGIM Fixed Income shares their weekly views and outlook for fixed income markets.
Greg Peters recently sat down for a discussion on multi-sector credit investing, sharing insights on the parallels he sees between his responsibilities as Co-Chief Investment Officer of PGIM Fixed Income and as a key decision-maker on the firm’s multi-sector team. “Both roles are looking at different asset classes, looking at the cross-asset opportunities, looking at valuations, seeing how it all fits in,” he says.
The multi-sector strategy affords Greg and his seasoned team the freedom to pursue their best ideas across the entire fixed income spectrum. Given that the fixed income market is notoriously dislocated and segmented, Greg explains, that flexibility is key to their pursuit of outperformance. Moreover, he believes current conditions foster historically attractive opportunities for a go-anywhere approach.
