Real Estate Quarterly Insights
Mar 15, 2024
PGIM Real Estate discusses latest themes and opportunities in the European, U.S and Asia Pacific real estate markets.
With the worst of the property correction behind us, we’re focusing more on the strength and timing of the recovery. As always, this is tricky to answer. To be sure, we face sector challenges around demand (think offices) and supply (think logistics). But we also face growing challenges by location as city dynamics start to matter more than they have for a long time.
In PGIM Real Estate's latest Quarterly Insights, its regional research teams focus on the following themes and opportunities:
- EUROPE: Which sectors are leading the correction; how this outlook varies by city; and what an occupier recovery means for the different office markets.
- UNITED STATES: What the rental outlook means with affordability improving unevenly across apartment classes, and how the rental outlook for the beleaguered retail sector might yet prove to be stronger than expected.
- ASIA PACIFIC: How the changing affordability for office occupiers is impacting rental growth forecasts, and how the nature of the economic outlook more broadly suggests Asian cities might yet record the strongest rental recovery across our regions.
