Alex Lepori
Alex Lepori is an executive director at PGIM Real Estate and a member of the APAC Portfolio Management team. Prior to joining the Global Data Centre Fund, Alex, who is based in Singapore, was responsible for carrying out a variety of duties, including: assisting with acquisitions/disposals, overseeing the execution of underwritten asset business plans, preparing investor reporting and performance measurement, managing FX/interest rate risk and fund liquidity, among other things, for both a pan-Asian as well as a Japan-focused core-plus mandate. He also sits on PGIM’s regional APAC ESG council and has been actively overseeing the implementation of ESG initiatives in his funds as part of his portfolio management duties.
Prior to joining PGIM in 2018, Alex worked for an agricultural land-focused fund management platform called Duxton Asset Management in Singapore. At Duxton, Alex was responsible for sourcing, executing, and managing transactions primarily in Australia, Uruguay, Argentina, Bulgaria, and Tanzania as well as serving on the boards of a number of companies. Before Duxton, Alex worked in London for several of RREEF’s real estate private equity funds, primarily focusing on the acquisition and asset management of real estate assets across both Western and Eastern Europe. Before joining RREEF in 2005, Alex was based in Washington, D.C. with the International Finance Corporation working on the project financing of private-sector nationwide mobile phone networks in emerging markets across Africa, Latin America, and Eastern Europe.
Alex holds a BSEng degree in Electrical Engineering and a BSEcon degree in Finance with first-class honors from the University of Pennsylvania as well as a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate Finance from the Wharton School.
