Brian Salyards
Brian Salyards is an executive director at PGIM Real Estate. Based in Boston, Brian is responsible for originating a broad range of multifamily mortgage products on behalf of the Agencies – Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA, with additional access to the firm’s proprietary capital sources and bridge loan capabilities. Additionally, he has a lending relationship with several correspondents.
Brian has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, with considerable additional experience in commercial real estate finance. Since joining PGIM Real Estate in 2011, Brian has closed over $5.7 billion in agency and life company loans. Previously, Brian was with Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage (now NKF), where he originated more than $1.3 billion in multifamily loans. Prior to that, he was a senior regional underwriter at Berkshire Mortgage Finance. Brian began his career by forming his own real estate company, J&B Home Realty, which he ran successfully for 10 years. As co-owner, he was involved in the acquisition, renovation and rental of multifamily properties in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Brian has a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of New Hampshire’s Whittemore School of Business and Economics, since renamed Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics. He also earned a certificate in real estate finance from Boston University.
