Stephen O’Keeffe
Stephen O’Keeffe is an executive director at PGIM Real Estate. Based in Australia, he is responsible for PGIM Real Estate’s Australian debt investments including sourcing, underwriting and completing debt transactions on behalf of mandates, funds and separate accounts.
Stephen has 26 years of experience in real estate across a number of disciplines including real estate finance, development, structuring equity and debt transactions and funds management.
Before joining PGIM Real Estate, Stephen was a senior director in the Debt and Structured Finance team of CBRE, where he was responsible for originating and closing new debt transactions for a variety of lender clients as well as the asset management and servicing of CBRE’s client loan portfolio of over AU$2 billion.
Prior to CBRE, Stephen was a debt fund manager with Quadrant Real Estate Advisors, where he was responsible for the implementation of debt strategies across the Australian, UK and U.S. real estate markets for a number of large Australian superannuation funds and institutional clients.
Stephen also held senior positions within Mirvac Funds Management (both in Australia and the U.S.) with a focus on development finance and mezzanine debt. During this time, he was involved in financing some of Australia’s largest residential apartment projects and residential land developments.
Stephen earned bachelor’s degrees in both applied science (property economics) and commerce. He is a registered valuer, a member of the API and is actively involved in the Property Council of Australia.
