John Doscher is Vice President, Compliance and serves as the Chief Compliance Officer for PGIM Institutional. Mr. Doscher also serves as Deputy Chief Compliance Officer for Prudential Financial, Inc. (PFI). He assumed the Deputy CCO and PGIM Institutional CCO role in June 2017.
Mr. Doscher is a veteran Compliance professional with over 25 years of Compliance experience and 30 years at Prudential. Mr. Doscher has served in senior compliance roles for most of PFI’s businesses including roles as CCO for International Insurance, Retirement, Group Insurance, and Annuities. Mr. Doscher had oversight for Compliance of the U.S. Life Insurance business including proprietary retail distribution, has provided compliance support to the Mutual Fund and Investment Management businesses and has served as CCO for multiple broker-dealers within PFI.
During his Compliance career, Mr. Doscher has been an industry leader in regulatory interaction and education and has established industry leading standards for monitoring third party sales activities and annuity suitability. He has served as a board member and has been an active member of several industry organizations that set compliance standards and promote best practices for the U.S. insurance and financial services industry. Mr. Doscher is a member of FINRA’s Independent Dealer/Insurance Affiliated Committee.
Mr. Doscher has his undergraduate degree in Accounting from St. John’s University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He currently holds a Series 7 and 24 registrations.
