Jack Ewing is the Chief Legal Officer for PGIM. Before assuming this role, he served as the chief legal officer for Prudential Financial, Inc. (PFI)'s Individual Life Insurance and Advisors businesses, as well as lead counsel for PFI Retirement’s institutional investments business.
Prior to joining PFI’s law department, Mr. Ewing was an associate in the Philadelphia office of Dechert LLP, where he focused on the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), tax and securities regulation of employee benefit programs for large public and private companies. He has extensive experience in the application of securities, insurance, broker-dealer and ERISA regulations to the development, marketing, and administration of investment and insurance products —as well as the acquisition and integration of operating businesses.
Mr. Ewing earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Rutgers University, and he graduated with highest honors from Rutgers Law School in Newark. He is admitted to the Bar in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
