Joëlle Metzman is Chief Operational Risk Officer for PGIM, where she oversees all aspects of operational risk within Asset Management.
Prior to joining Prudential Financial, Inc. (PFI), Ms. Metzman was the global head of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and operational risk at Lazard Frères. She was at Lazard for over seven years, where she developed and implemented a global SOX program upon the Lazard Initial Public Offering (IPO), as well as an operational risk program across all business lines including investment banking and asset management.
Ms. Metzman spent over 10 years in internal audit with Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse, where she was responsible for managing regional and global audits of various fixed income, equity, and investment banking units, as well as support functions. She started her career with KPMG and worked in audit and consulting with the Paris, Philadelphia, and New York practices.
Ms. Metzman holds a Master of Management degree with a concentration in Finance (Oxford), a “Diplom Kaufmann in Betriebswirtschaftslehre” (Berlin), and a “Diplôme des Grandes Écoles de Commerce” (Paris) from E.S.C.P. Europe.
