PGIM, PGIM’s Inclusion Month, and Barbara Fuchs, vice president of Talent Management at PGIM, have been named 2021 ThinkAdvisor LUMINARIES. The LUMINARIES Awards honor companies, programs and individuals for taking creative and bold steps to drive the industry forward and making an impact where it matters most.
Fuchs is being honored for her leadership of employee listening sessions and designing comprehensive programming for Black History Month and International Women’s Day, launching an audit of the promotion processes and setting a foundation for targeted inclusion training.
PGIM’s annual Inclusion Month, which takes place in October, is being recognized for going beyond raising awareness and emphasizing ways to embed inclusive behavior into PGIM’s culture. 2020’s Inclusion Month focused on encouraging open conversations around Mental Health and included training, employee stories as well as speakers on children’s mental health, racial trauma, mindfulness and the launch of PGIM’s Mental Health Champions Program.
PGIM also received an award in the LUMINARIES Firm category, for its long-held commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion and through the advocacy of senior leaders, global culture initiatives and our “5-over-5” aspirational goal to increase diverse representation at the senior levels of PGIM. PGIM’s DEI framework is centered on five key areas of impact: Talent, Culture, Industry, Investing and Community.
Kathy Sayko, Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer of PGIM, says “This recognition as ThinkAdvisors LUMINARIES reflects our efforts to ensure our diversity commitments go well beyond words on a page. There is certainly more work to do within the asset management industry, but these awards are a great symbol of our progress. Congratulations to Barbara and to all who contribute to inclusion at PGIM.”
At PGIM, diversity of perspectives is at the core of who we are and what we do.
