David Skinner is a managing director at PGIM Real Estate and portfolio manager for the Prudential Retirement Real Estate Fund series. David brings over 24 years of defined contribution experience to his role as portfolio manager and global head of the Defined Contribution Practice for PGIM Real Estate.
David is responsible for developing PGIM Real Estate’s strategy for the defined contribution market, including overseeing the firm’s distribution, marketing and product development initiatives. David is currently on the executive board of the Defined Contribution Real Estate Council of which he was formerly co-president from 2012 -2015. David is currently a member of the Defined Contribution Alternatives Association (DCALTA) and Defined Contribution Investment Forum (DCIF). David also sits on a working group for NCREIF, focused on increasing the profile of commercial real estate in the defined contribution marketplace.
Prior to joining the firm, David worked for J.P. Morgan Retirement Plan Services where he led institutional defined contribution investment only sales to large and mega plan sponsors.
David earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Fordham University.
