PGIM Real Estate acquires six-story industrial building in Singapore for US$55 million
Luxasia Building is one of Singapore’s prime industrial assets, with a location that has made it ideal for consumer product and lifestyle-oriented tenants.
PGIM Real Estate has joined the WiredScore Smart Council, the first dedicated smart building council in the world. WiredScore, the global rating scheme for digital connectivity in real estate, is present in nine countries, with 550 million square feet committed to certification globally.
The WiredScore Smart Council was created to provide clarity, leadership and guidance on what constitutes a smart building. Its formation brings together global forward-thinking landlords, tenants and real estate leaders to leverage their combined knowledge and expertise to provide a dedicated approach to the impact of smart buildings within real estate.
In partnership with WiredScore, the Smart Council will establish clear criteria and standards that properties must meet to be certified as smart, helping landlords navigate the complex new world of smart buildings, in advance of launching a new smart certification.
