Alex Mendrin is a senior investment associate with PGIM Real Estate’s Agricultural Finance team. He is responsible for loan origination, asset management, and credit underwriting for PGIM’s Western Region. Alex emphasizes on permanent crops and irrigated farmland within the Central Coast and Central Valley of California, which often involves analyzing increasingly complex water situations.
Prior to joining PGIM Real Estate, Alex worked at The Mendrin Group, an agricultural brokerage firm, where he worked on the due diligence of real estate transactions.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business (2016) from California State University, Fresno, and is a graduate of the Agricultural Lending Institute. Alex is also a past board member of the Ag Lenders Society of California.
Rooted in agriculture, Alex was born and raised in Fresno, California, where he currently resides with his wife, Annah.
