Jason Denton is an executive director and National Timber and Eastern regional manager for the Agricultural Finance team at PGIM Real Estate. Based in Madison, Georgia, Jason is responsible for overseeing the strategy and production for core farm originations east of the Rockies and timber on a national scale.
Before joining PGIM Real Estate, Jason served as a director for Timberland and Forest Products Finance for MetLife. Jason led timberland originations, with over $3.4 billion in domestic and international timberland debt transactions.
Prior to that, Jason held roles with AgSouth Farm Credit ACA in their Corporate Lending Group, with experience across row crop, agribusiness, timberland and forest products.
Jason has a bachelor’s degree in forest resource from The University of Georgia, and a master’s degree from Troy State University. He has also been a featured speaker for several industry conferences including “Who Will Own The Forest.”
