Julien Higuero is executive director of Portfolio Management at PGIM Real Estate. Julien leads the implementation and execution of various strategies across asset platforms, and responsible for the management and performance of all of them.
Previously, he was vice president of Transactions, responsible for originating, supervising and coordinating the process of acquisitions and dispositions, such as negotiating potential joint ventures on the various platforms.
In this role at PGIM, Julien led the acquisition and development of industrial warehouses for more than $1 billion, executed the sale of several portfolios for a consolidated amount of more than $500 million, and finally negotiated and implemented several co-investment industrial companies with leading developers in the Mexican sector.
Before joining PGIM, Julien served as a fund manager at AXA Real Estate in Paris, France, overseeing two pan-European funds with commercial properties totaling $1 billion, and geographically focused on seven European countries.
Julien holds a master of business administration from ESSEC Business School in Paris, France, with a specialization in real estate. Julien is a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and holds the title of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
